I’ve tried a million different ways to bookmark links to send to my friends and family but I’m just about ready to give up unless I can find an easy way. I’m hoping that this blog in combination with a Firefox extension Dashblog will let me quickly collect videos, images, text/quotes, songs and screen-captures from any web page and publish them to this blog. I use the Flock browser quite a bit and the extension appears to work with Flock too. I wish it worked with Opera cos I’m a big fan – all my email gets sorted through Opera and it is fast.

Downloadpedia.com is an extended library of freeware, shareware and commercial software for Windows, Linux, and Mac. Perhaps it’s not the best or most comprehensive resource but it’s a good start!

Another very useful site to visit and register with is Giveaway of the Day which provides a free program for 24 hours only. You must download and install within the time limit. I have picked up some very good commercial applications for free although some crappy screensaver apps appear there regularly. Always read the instructions carefully before installing apps as the process may differ from day to day.
